Telescopic forks for Truck-Mounted Forklifts

MSE-Forks was the first company to develop hydraulic forks at the request of KOOI BV, a manufacturer of truck-mounted forklift trucks called the KOOI-AAP – 'aap' in Dutch meaning 'monkey' or 'ape'. RE hydraulic forks are needed in order to place pallets beyond and in front of these forklifts trucks' extended forward wheelbase. The initial design incorporated dual cylinders connected in parallel in order to cope with the higher power demands required for this type of usage. Even today, truck-mounted forklift truck manufacturers are stilling using this same concept. The system requires an external synchronization valve and forks are sold under the Power Range name.
