Meijer Special Equipment exceeds all sales expectations
 MSE, manufacturer of the KOOI-REACHFORKS®, is heading towards a new record. The number of employees has recently been expanded with two extra persons and in the near future MSE will invest in new deepdrilling machines. MSE is the world’s largest manufacturer of hydraulic telescopic lift truck forks.
The telescopic forks are sold through a widespread import network. With telescopic forks it is possible to load and unload lorries from one side and goods can be stacked double deep in warehouses in order to save space within the same surface.
In spite of the depression in logistics MSE has got 20 % more orders in the first half of the year. This means a turnover increase of 16 %. This increase is mainly thanks to the mountable lift truck branches which are very lively in Europe at the moment. Next to it MSE has recently appointed new dealers in some East European countries. MSE also invests a lot in safety and technology. More and more lift truck manufacturers recommend or even prescribe the use of hydraulic forks. The numbers mentioned above do not mean that profits have also risen (16%). Because of high price increases of metal in the past half year profits have dropped. MSE is part of Meijer Holding, as well as Meijer Plaatbewerking ( a specialist in handling sheet metal). Meijer BV offers employment to 130 persons.
