Trucks as well as trains can be completely loaded and unloaded from one side. It is no longer necessary to turn the vehicle or approach the trailer from both sides. This way of pallet handling makes the operation safer then the traditional method because all the operations are carried out from one side. The time saving is ± 15%. The reduced amount of space required for turning means that extra space is created which can, for example, be used to store additional goods. Of course we cannot calculate the benefits for the lorry driver but the fact that the lorry only has to be opened from one side and the fact that no extra manoeuvring is required should not be underestimated.
