These telescopic forks allow a variety of different pallet sizes to be handled safely without damage to goods and racking for example. The extension forks eliminate possible manual handling problems associated with mechanical fork extensions. The forks’ length is altered hydraulically and ensures the load is always fully supported. When euro-pallets are being used the lift truck driver can easily extend a fork length from 800 mm. to 1200 mm. Many companies are not aware of the costs ( ± 1% of the total value of the goods) when standard lift truck forks damage goods or racking because they are too long. The special designed hydraulic extension forks can not catch the pallet planks because of it’s special section.
